Paper notes beside the job card are still data
Many service apps report “incomplete job cards” as a discipline problem. On the floor, the unfinished status often means the advisor finished the explanation for the customer on a notepad because the app timed out during handover.
When we audit a lane, we ask to see the paper stack near the reception desk. Those scraps explain gaps the export cannot. Pretending the digital record is complete only teaches advisors to backfill fiction after closing time.
A healthier reading treats paper notes as part of the appointment trail. The findings brief can then recommend when to update the card — not how to hide the habit overnight.
